Protecht Pty Ltd
Software systems are an important component to the effective management of enterprise, but most are highly rigid and do not provide the flexibility that risk managers are looking for.
Protecht eliminates this problem with Protecht.ERM (Enterprise Risk Management), a component-based system that risk managers can assemble to meet their specific requirements and processes. It is suitable for large corporations, but its flexibility also enables smaller organisations to easily manage their risk and compliance obligations without changing systems as they grow.
Protecht.ERM includes all components of a complete risk management framework, including risk and control self-assessment, compliance and key risk indicators, incidents and registers, audit, actions and dashboard reporting.
Flexible risk and control libraries exists allowing users to categorise their key risks and controls in any manner. Users can design any number or type of compliance questions to be responded to by staff, with automatic notifications. Key risk indicators can be created and linked to any business unit to provide early warning indicators of increasing risk, while the registers module allows end users to design any type of online register to record risk related information.
Because all components are centralised in a single web-based system, Protecht.ERM eliminates the need for multiple spread sheets and documents to manage risk and compliance obligations. In this way it assists organisations to prevent risk events and compliance breaches from occurring and any associated litigation and fines.
Protecht.ERM is currently used by more than 40 organisations, including Medibank Private, Super Retail Group, Metcash and Bankwest, as well as many smaller organisations. The company is investigating options to take Protecht.ERM into foreign markets, starting with Europe and Africa.
