Ceed Program QLD

Students are available from 4 participating Universities in Queensland and Sydney: the University of Queensland (UQ), Queensland University of Technology (QUT), the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), and the University of Sydney (USYDNEY). Some students from Southbank Institute of Technology (in Brisbane) have also completed projects.
The main types of students available are: Engineering, Information Technology, Business (Marketing, HR, Finance, MBA), Sustainable Management, Food Technology/ Science and Science (Biotechnology, Biology) – other areas by request.
Companies can access students at various times of the year, coinciding with University semesters – February, July, and November. Project duration is 13 weeks, and the students work on-site with their company host/sponsor for 3-4 days/week throughout the semester. Summer vacation period can also be incorporated for larger projects (ie. Summer vacation + 1st semester = December to June)
A limited number of CEED projects are offered to accredited ATS members each year (membership must be for 3 months or more, and eligibility is based on addressing criterias through an assessment process). Approved recipients receive a financial subsidy towards the cost of a CEED project, with the remainder payable by clients. The project fee is all-inclusive: student scholarship, insurances, CEED recruitment / management / training fee, academic supervision. A contract provides the client with ownership of IP, and confidentiality.
